Privacy Policy – Last Mantis
Last updated: 28 September 2026 — version 1.0.1
1. Who is responsible
Opinga Games
Contact: info@opinga.games
2. What we collect
If you allow optional analytics, the game sends gameplay statistics to PostHog and installation/app-start events to Meta to help us measure our advertising:
- when the app is opened and when a play session starts
- when a round starts and ends, which level and round, whether you won, and how long the round lasted
- when you first use the Mantis Time ability
- technical context: platform, app/build version, device model, operating-system version, device language, screen dimensions, processor count and time zone
- a randomly generated installation identifier; each service uses its own identifier
- your IP address is visible to the receiving service when the app connects; PostHog may derive an approximate country from it
The game does not send your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or advertising ID. The game has no accounts and no login. Your progress stays on your device.
3. How you are identified
The statistics use a random number generated on your device the first time you play. It is not the device advertising identifier. These identifiers are pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity. They are stored locally in the app's data.
4. Your consent
The optional PostHog and Meta app events are not sent before you tap “Allow”. You can play if you decline and change your choice using the STATS button on the level map. Withdrawing consent stops future events and clears pending events on your device. Version 1.0.1 asks again before adding Meta as a recipient; earlier analytics consent does not enable this new data sharing.
Separately, the game uses Apple's SKAdNetwork installation-attribution mechanism. Apple controls the privacy thresholds, timing and data in the resulting advertising postbacks. This does not give the game access to your advertising ID.
5. Who processes the data
Statistics are processed by PostHog on servers in the European Union (PostHog Inc., posthog.com/privacy). We use them only to understand how far players get in the game and whether they come back.
Meta receives installation and app-start events and their technical context to measure app advertising. It does not receive round/level events from this integration. Meta processes information under its Privacy Policy, which describes its processing locations, retention and applicable safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
Our gameplay statistics are kept for at most 12 months and then deleted. Meta's own retention practices are described in its Privacy Policy.
7. Your rights
You can ask us what is stored about your random identifier, and you can ask us to delete it. Write to info@opinga.games. The game has no account system, so identifying records may require the random installation identifiers. Contact us for help with your request.
8. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date.
